NanoWired GmbH is a start-up company in Gernsheim. With its patented processes of NanoWiring, KlettWelding, KlettSintering and KlettGlueing, any materials can be joined. NanoWired GmbH is currently focusing on the field of electronics and electrical engineering, in particular the areas of mobility, comodity, semiconductors and sensor technology. Typical applications are in the substitution of soldering, bonding, welding, sintering, conductive bonding or screws. After joining at room temperature or very low sintering temperatures, the result is a purely metallic connection with ideal electrical and thermal conductivity values and simultaneous mechanical strength. Due to its closed porous structure, the resulting connections are gas and water-tight and thus resistant to corrosion. Today, the interconnection technology already scales between 3µm² and 1/4m². Due to the metal-dry connection methods, no capillary short circuits can occur. Depending on the metal used in NanoWiring (copper, gold, silver, nickel, platinum), KlettWelding and KlettSintering joints can be used far above 500°C without affecting the properties. Through cooperation with over 50 international companies such as BOSCH, SIEMENS, CONTINENTAL, AUDI, Honda, OSRAM, WIKA, NEXPERIA, IXYS, LITTELFUSE, On-Semi, HONDA, KOA, MURATA or HUAWEI, NanoWired is working on continuous industrialisation, providing integration and production services for various types of KlettWelding-Tape and ISO KlettWelding-Tape, as well as a fully automated NanoWiring production machine with the necessary consumables.
